Scot Brownlie is a seasoned finance and accounting executive turned consultant, with deep experience guiding businesses through growth, transformation, and operational excellence. As the founder of Brownlie Consulting, he brings a passion for helping organizations become better, stronger, and faster in how they manage finances, processes, and strategic decision-making.
Scot currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at DRC Heat Transfer, where he oversees financial strategy, forecasting, compliance, and operational efficiency. His career includes senior finance and accounting leadership roles across automotive, industrial engineering, and manufacturing — including positions as Controller, VP & Controller, and Accounting Manager.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a registered CPA.
